Biomass includes a huge variety of materials. This ranges from grape pomace from wine production, other agricultural residue, municipal solid waste, and all types of forest trimmings, slash, logs, and chips. In Colorado a major source of Biomass is forest residues from Mountain Pine Beetle devastation. We work closely with forestry officials, loggers, saw mill operators and conservationists to ensure that our units have a positive impact on the forest. Forest health depends on the periodic thinning and clearing of residues. We give that work further impact by displacing fossil fuels and providing clean, green energy. AND we create local jobs by hiring local staff to operate the units and by purchasing feedstock materials from local suppliers such as saw mill operators.
